Soulsmith
Protest Songs aren't ideally suited to to the northern soul genre, which could at times be simplified down to "she loves me/she loves me not" But are there any good 60s stomper protest songs? Please no mention of James Coit Appreciate there are loads of 70s with maybe Al Wilson - Be Concerned right near the top for me. Al doing some sterling work making up for past misdemeanours? Whats your favourite.....stand up & be counted......vote with your fingers now! ps Currently listening to Sly & The Family Stone - Family Affair. Not really a protest song, but what a tune!
