Mark Bicknell Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Hi guys and girls can anyone give me a REALISTIC price on this Buck Rogers Movement - Take it from me girl - 20th centuary Thanks in advance Di xxxxxxxxx Di, It's actually on 21st Century, I've had about three copies through my hands over the years and still kept one, fab record, I think Gene R aka Gene Robertson had one for sale on here a week or so ago @£100.00 which is about the going rate maybe £100/150.00 should secure a copy. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

Pete S Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Can't understand why anyone would want to buy it in an auction, it's easily obtainable for under £100, it's hard to sell, and it's a tenth rate dancer!

asboannie Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 (edited) I think its a brilliant dancer, and am always asked to play it Think it a great record.......and well worth the money, have seen it go for £175.......but each to there own Annie Edited April 9, 2008 by asboannie
Pete S Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Think it a great record.......and well worth the money, have seen it go for £175.......but each to there own Annie OK, so it's not that bad - but I just wonder about why certain records which aren't in the slightest bit rare, get put into these auctions - and of course as soon as people see what it sells for, they all up their prices.
Shsdave Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 OK, so it's not that bad - but I just wonder about why certain records which aren't in the slightest bit rare, get put into these auctions - and of course as soon as people see what it sells for, they all up their prices. Agreed Pete, couldn't believe it when i saw it on auction today. Paid £100 for mine, it was a better record in my memory than on my turntable Sold it on to Gene for same price & presume it's the same one that Gene's selling? Obviously all about personal opinion as to whether it's good or not.... but rare ????

Mark Bicknell Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 The first copy I had was way back early 80's when it was covered up as 'Trade Martin' I think? paid about 50 quid for that one sold it on for about the same, then found one in Chicago which I kept for a bit then was offered £150.00 for it several years ago at a Cleethorpes weekender, then got the copy I have now off Ebay for about 40 quid then got another one off Ebay a couple of years back cheap and sold it on for a ton, so as Pete stated this would appear to be eaiser to find than being an auction record but who know's? still think it's a good record though. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
