macca Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 What are the principle differences between the real ones & the boots? Cheers, M.
Harry Crosby Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Apparently and i quote the bootlegg has a dip in the label towards the middle,+ an oversized run out of nearly an inch, the original run out is about !/4 of an inch hope that helps

No, it's still good - apart from that glitch at the start. Remember early days of the net, found 3 copies of this is a New York record store, when they came...yep, 3 boots!
Steve G Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 Boots havE ink of th "next label in the pile" on them - the labels weren't dry when they placed em one on top of the next. Hi Macca,\hope u r well. Steve

Thats nearly as bad as me selling an original for £20 back in 1975! The original has, as said, a sensible size mastered run out groove and definiative matrix stamp and insription.
Local Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Thanks chaps. Pretty lousy boot by the sounds of it. Mate of mine has just shelled out 20 qid for one. Boot is a good price at #20 these days, seen em go for a lot more than that. JF
Platters 81 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 and then theres the dog barking......which you cant hear on the boot.......
