Cheapsiderecords Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Can anybody tell me if this has been booted as a White Label promo? Just picked one up from Record Show and it is mint. No reference in John's Bootleg Guide.

Mark Bicknell Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Can anybody tell me if this has been booted as a White Label promo? Just picked one up from Record Show and it is mint. No reference in John's Bootleg Guide. I have a Red Stock/Issue copy of this wonderful record, to the best of my knowledge not the type of record to be bootlegged, I'll hook it out of the boxes and post the deadwax details etc. or maybe someone will have the record to hand then at least you cam compare the details, number, ident's etc. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
Guest Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Don't think this has ever been booted. There is a scan on my website if that helps: https://www.soulsupermarket.co.uk/freddie-s...many-2217-p.asp Adam.
Guest SteveSnow Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 that's a scan of mine if it helps. incredible track!
Paul McKay Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Great version by Clyde McPahtetr on his Decca LP, taken at a faster pace.
Cheapsiderecords Posted April 7, 2008 Author Posted April 7, 2008 Mine looks the same as the 1 posetd - except it doesnt have the writing either side of the 45rpm, logo under the Columbia at the top? Can anybody add anything to this? I wonder if it might have been done at the same time as the Dean Barlow, Paul whatshisname on Jacklyn? They originated in Canada as well I believe?
Guest Pete Griffin Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Ive just posted this 45 in the media section with scan, in the Morrocco muzic makers bit. Excellent tune. Pete Griff
