Many thanks Doc Hi Chris, watch out for Simon lookalike boots done at same time as Salvadors, Mel Britt etc. Good try but Easy to identify as again the labels have a white ring to label edge.....but of course some creative sorts colour over! I have a nice minter available...could be persuaded....PM me. ALAN

ALAN Are you 100% on this Alan - I've never, ever heard of this before and this was never a big enough sound to counterfeit - the crap pressing wasn't done til late 77 early 78. Not saying you're wrong, just not come across or heard of this in 30+ years. Used to be a standard £8 in the Wigan bar, bought 2 of them in 77.

True, very good boot, on the Big list Simon put out with all the current biggies of the time. Yes it was a £6/£8 record at the time, (but so was Billy Woods......) cult record, introduced as "one for the Riker likers" i recall. Possibly boot scarcer than the original ??
