Shit day at work, need something to lift the spirits, look at the sounds and think "that will do" - Robert John - "Raindrops, love and sunshine" followed by, We The People - "Making my daydream real" All of a sudden the world seems a better place. It actually uses Syl Johnson's "Is it becuase Im black?" over an old salsoul riff and the result is so soulful.

If i need a boost it is generally a female vocal that will do it for me. I dont know why, because my fave tunes are mostly male vocals. Numero uno for just making the world a better place Ivories - Please Stay. If I'm bored at home and want to cut a kitchen rug Sandi Sheldon - Your gonna make me want you And if I need to scare all the dogs away in the neighbourhood I like to sing the backing harmonies to Elbie Parker - Please keep away from me.
