Hakenig Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) I'd say this 45 is pretty rare. I found a pretty worn copy about five years ago, have not seen one since (my copy was sold, but for a lot less than this one on ebay). There's a funk 45 on the same label that's better known (Soul Excitement)......anybody know of other releases on the label? Edited April 1, 2008 by hakenig

There is an artist by that name that is an elvisalike singer - used to sing his own stuff I believe but also covered elvis, jumpsuit an all. Edited April 1, 2008 by hold tight

Quinvy Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I asked Butch about this 45 a while ago. He reccons Keb played it a few times at Stafford, quite rare, the middle 8 is very good, but other wise.

Quinvy Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Hey Phil... are you trying to make James jealous with your avatar? YES!
Philt Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Bought a copy of Frank J at Wilton about 18m or so ago but never really got on with it to be honest (much to Mickey Cruz's disgust - he was after buying it as I recall and has referred to me as Brutus ever since ). Since sold my copy on; keep an eye on Mr Manship's site if you're after this ... ... Phil
