Anyone know what this sells for? I haven't been able to even locate a computer file of it, let alone any kind of permanent media....

This one's certainly Ska, in fact "Bluebeat'n'ska of yesterday" are what the song's about. I heard it on the BBC's late night bluebeat show that used to follow the Gospel programme, so we're probably talking mid to late 80's here. In fact it was number two in The Dub Vendor's Disco Chart on the 31st of January, 1987. If I read the chart correctly the label was Groove And A Quarter.

I have been wondering about that. I've found other tracks by a band of this name on a couple of reggae compo LPs but this track is illuding me.

The thought is just beginning to strike me that maybe the reason this particular track is ska is because it's about bluebeat and ska. The band themselves could therefore be pretty much anything from a bunch of skins to a fully fledged in-house soul band. Trouble is, when I search for it the results are always fudged by dozens of Geno Washington entries, and deleting Geno simply brings up pages of stuff that's in administration.

I vote that from now on there should be no duplicate song titles and all bands should have made-up words in their names... :)
