Jordirip Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I saw the Philharmonics go for over $220 last night. Have I missed something here? I know it used to be rare but it's been £30 for 10 years, how come it's jumped up, have they dried up and become indemand or what? Great tune though. Jordi

Jordi ....another one that's taken 20 years to catch on, top tune $0000's in quality terms, but $100 max I would have said.

But I think this is an exception, probably the buyer didn't do his homework. He didn't know it before and listened to the soundclip- and a great record it is for sure. Maybe it has increased a bit, but I would rate it at 50...not over 100UKP..
Mark Bicknell Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Stunning record and as Cliff said taken years to catch on, not sure if it's a hundred quider but it terms of quality it's a winner and a gem of a record. Worth £40/50.00 of anyone's money. Regards - Mark Bicknell

Chalky Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Jesus, how much??? Crazy!!! £30/£40 isn't it...unless I've missed summat too.
Wrongcrowd Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 i bought my copy off MR DARCY for £15 a couple of years back, bargain Yeah, Mr. DArcy's never had an ear for anything past '69, Anne Sexton on Impel 30 quid and Earl White Jr for a tenner bagged from his sales box back in the day Still, I let him have a Jimmy Mack on Palmer for 75 so it wasn't all one way traffic
