Britmusicsoulfan Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Hi All, I was having a chat with someone a few weeks ago and showed him a promo copy I have of The Jelly Beans - You Don't Mean Me No Good. He mentioned this was the first song that was played at Wigan Casino. I've dug around online a bit and didn't see anything about this and just wanted to come here for the facts to confirm. (I've probably given away the fact I'm fairly new to Northern Soul.) Many thanks. BritMusicSoulFan

Ian Seaman Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 It,s always been thought it was the Sherrys - put your arms around me - JJ/HOT, but can anyone confirm this, heard plenty of storys of times, warm up records etc as to when the 1st record was actually on the decks. Can we believe what Russ W says
