For me most of these sounds (call it R`n`B or whatever you like) are ROCKERS. An really old (he must be 70+ meanwhile) record dealer from Hamburg teached me about his past in the 60`s. When he was young, he and all his mates call this stuff ROCKERS. I like this old man and all his funny stories from the Star Club era to death...so I use his term as a kind of respect.
