Did this not come out on two labels? was it LINDEE & GAMMA? think one of them is canadian can`t remember wich one though

LINDEE was the canadian one - Massive record in its day

Just picked this up for a buck at the local Record Show, any real value?

Played it and it sounded pretty discoey? John Manship has it in his last book for a tenner?

How could you call this discoey Kev?

Was a monster in its day - Classsic Record for the northern scene because of the clap after the guitar in the same way as bernie williams.

Mecca monster, top quality tune not a sign of disco.

Absolutely brilliant record takes me back to the St Ives All nighters when this was as big as you could get  , and you're right Alan, no sign of disco in there :D

By the way, both Gamma and Lindee are Canadian issues - no US release as far as I know

First played early 76 - actually bought this on my first ever visit to the Casino - dropped like a stone almost immediately. LinDee copies came after Gamma

In the same handful of 45's was The Mighty Clouds Of Joy - Time - ABC Dunhill, is this known or played? It bloody should be - what a belting 70's dancer.

Certainly remember buying it as a new import Kev, probably from Graham Warr's place in the Oasis, Brum - but that'd be before your time, you young sprog!

Never thought of it back then mate, this was a driving uptempo dancer, I bought loads of records of that ilk back then - creative source, johnny williams, east coast connection etc. Love 'em.

Brilliant record, but I've seen it empty a full floor on more than one occasion over a 30 year period (and not just when I've played it, either).

It might just be one of those records that will never have its 'time'....

There were a glut of Canadian tunes played at ST IVES all at the same time.Charity Brown/Mary Saxton/Francine McGee/Stratavarious and this one.I think all of these records originally targeted the Canadian Disco Market

Sure I remember Todays People being spun at Notts Oddfellows 83ish and still being a massive stomper - totally old school Northern Soul !!
