After discovery boxes of vinyl in my garage and having just sold my 1st record on ebay, just wondering how you guys mail your records safely to avoid damage?

Brand new 7" Mailer and 3 (sometimes 4) 7" stiffeners placed either side of the record (alternating the way the corrugation goes for extra strength)

You can buy the mailers and stiffeners off ebay very easily.

Same applies for LPs but using bigger packaging (obviously  )

If you come from Yorkshire, you just re-use the pile of old ones sent to you, that have in the cupboard!

or visit the local asda and raid their cardboard skip, then set up a cottage workshop cutting out mailers and stiffners from old banana boxes

I put mine in a poly sleeve and put that in a carboard sleeve. Then I put it in a plastic grocery bag and then in the mailer. I started with the plasi bag after I had a couple of postmen/mailmen leave the boxes on peoples doorsteps and they got rained on and drenched and the labels got ruined.
