Neil Rushton Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Have had a great response to the Tyrone Ashley album "Let Me Be your Man" on the fatbeats label. This USA release from last year is Ist issue of an album recorded for Phil-L.A-of Soul in 1969 but never released due to contactual problems. It includes the monster Northern track "I Can't Stay Away" which is simply awesome, one of the best "stuck in the vaults" discoveries for years. Have had people asking if it is sold out or still in stock? I still have copies @ £15 each including postage and packing. For Pay Pal address is sales@soulvation.biz If you want to pay by cheque please PM me for details. All the Best, Neil
jocko Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Neil is it vinyl only or do you have CD's also? Cheers
Tfk Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 (edited) Neil is it vinyl only or do you have CD's also? Cheers Jock, This album is well worth purchasing, get it before its to late,i used this track on both friday and saturday at The Lifeline weekender allnighters,in fact send for two copies Jock[as a future investment]its a great album/top cover with a great write up on the back of it - this album would defo have not seen the light of day if it wasnt for these guys sourcing it and releasing it..i am kinda guessing that it will be a limited press and i bet if Phil.la of Soul would have released it in 1969 they would have pressed off more copies than these guys have"Cant stay away " is a great piece of uptempo soul, crossover at its best? imo.... Enjoy and ktf "tfk" Infact im off to the decks to have another listen,i am getting giddy just talking about it.... Edited March 5, 2008 by TFK
