Pete S Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Just done a test podcast for my website, an hours worth of classic 68-70 reggae, all from Pama labels. Nothing out of the ordinary I'm afraid but it should help pass an hour. You have to go to the bottom of the page and you'll see 'classic reggae etc' and click the triangle on the left of the title. https://www.rare-soul.com/wordpress/?page_id=11 track list lee perry - i was meant for you slim smith - burning desire jimmy riley - catch this sound alton ellis - give me your love winston groovey - darling you send me pat kelly - how long donald lee - work out uniques - ain't too proud to beg melodians - personally speaking jonny organ - don juan upsetters - dry acid king cannon - fire ball reggaeites - harris wheel kingstonians - hold down pat kelly - i am coming home uniques - love and devotion stranger cole - pretty cottage monty morris - tears in your eyes monty morris - say what you say eric barnet - the horse d tony lee - peyton place
Andreas Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 great stuff pete nice compilation!!! btw. "donald lee - work out" is actually jeff barnes not don lee and on the gas issue it is 5 or 6 seconds longer at the end as on smash records (SMA 2315), which seems to me that pama was the first before b&c put it out. andreas
