Chris Anderton
My boss has got involved with some charity work and asked me if i`d do a soul night for his charity....just comercial stuff, motown, but of well known northern etc...."No problem" says I.....then he said "and i`ve got a bloke who will do a Frank Sinatra tribute act for an hour half way through"! I told him where he could get off...probably not a smart move an hour before my appraisal!!! Chris. Link to comment Social source share

Guest
I read it as a Frank Elson tribute act for a half hour...where is he these days?? Frank is still alive - and well - in Oldham , writing for the local paper and the Land Rover owners magazine ....... I last spoke to him several months ago , and he made me smile with this anicdote ...... Frank ventures out very rarely to soul music nights these days , and he told me that when he last did , someone introduced him , to which he got the reply " Frank who ? "......
