Harry Crosby
There was a time [no pun intended] in the seventies when i used to collect black issues, RCA,DECCA,DUNHILL,CORAL,BRUNSWICK,ABC etc, managed to get most of them back then, had most of the ABC ones apart from the obvious YUM YUMS,but never heard of or saw an issue of HOLLY ST JAMES does this exist? I think we may have to say that they all exist as issues, I didn't think there were Yum Yums or Earl jackson issues, but I've seen them now so the rest must be out there somewhere Link to comment Social source share

Dave Moore
Lost count of the number of times I've thought....wonder if there's an issue/demo of this? Only to see one eventually. Latest one was: Harold Andrews - Since I talked To My Baby - HLS W/DEMO. Keith Williams came up with one. Now nestling in Box marked H. Anyone else got one? Must be someone out there. Guest
Dave, I'm slightly surprised @ the Harold Andrews demo comment. I consider Harold Andrews - Since I talked To My Baby - HLS W/DEMO as relatively common. Bob Catteneo commissioned Harold Andrews to write and perform a Northern soul record, so he could market it in 1975, so it could be classed as a "tailor made!" He did the same with Freddie Hughes - Take Me As I Am - Hipstar (ever seen a DEMO of that?) Returning to Harold Andrews, the promo's were all over the place, back in the day, and I'm surprised I haven't actually got one on the shelves, but checking data we've sold FIVE copies in the last 6 years @ £25 being the top price. I think it must have been one, that's just eluded you, whilst browsing. John Edited March 7, 2008 by john manship Link to comment Social source share
