Hi everybody,

No luck asking for a trade, so I'll try this way.

If anyone has got a vg+ or better copy of "Don't destroy me" on Mutt, the version with strings, please contact me.

Should be easy, isn't it?

Thanks

Tommaso

I have a couple of these. Mint / Unplayed condition.

What about some sound Phil, I'm interested in hearing this

I'll do an mp3 of it tomorrow or Wednesday.

Just need to rig up the laptop to the stereo again.

I just sold one of these on ebay last week. They have a different number in the run-out groove. The strings version has an X suffix or maybe it's the other way round, can't remember.

There are 2 different versions of Milton Harris - She's Hurting Me as well as The Majestees too.

really?!? i thought i knew all the mutt releases....must have had 20 or so milton harrises but never noticed that any were different. how do they differ? only had one majjestees so wouldn't know....but there are actually THREE different carol jones versions: the two you're talking about and the striped-label one, which has two more takes.

I'm very interested in a second majjestees. Is there a label variation? Can you describe the audio difference and possibly how to tell via deadwax? The lead of the majjestees is angelo bond by the way.

been meaning to dig mine out to compare, i thought there might be three different mixes, i don't recall mine having so much of the horns as the 'horns' version

Any chance of a soundclip for the 3rd take or all 3 to compare. Ive got the early 22421/22 take, sold the later 27320 take to Steve Cato.Cracking tune either issue.

I'll try and dig them all out and mp3 'em and post 'em up.

There's also 2 versions of a little leon (or summat like that) too.

i got multiple copies of them all years ago from Bob Lee in Detroit. Somebody had just brought them in as a job lot all mint / unplayed so he charged me $2 each  Happy days.

Same trip is where I got all the Invictus / Hot waX / Music merchant stuff. Also $2 each.

Phil
