Tony Turner Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 For anybody interested in the Birmingham show. You get tickets only from a website Wegottickets.com, not from the venue. It was showing only 4 tickets left this afternoon. Who's going?
Guest Rob Glover Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Sharon Jones is touring the Uk in April Dates in London , Brighton, Manchester & Gateshead are all on here, just click on shows www.daptonerecords.com Anyone going? Yep I shall be there, just sorted out the tickets for the London gig and if the last 2 times I saw them live (London & New York) are anything to go by this is going to be an incredible tour. It's about time we saw some more soulies at these shows though eh, these guys are going to be the best live show you see this year.
Val (Chunky) Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Myself and a few others went to see her last year at the Jazz Cafe and I thought she and the backing band were great......well worth seeing
Guest bazabod_downunder Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Saw her here last friday in Brisbane, a lady with a lot of energy, tight band & she certainly knows how to play to the audience, got it really pumped up, enjoyed her versions of 'It's A Man's World' & 'There Was A Time' great entertainment...the support act Bob Log III was a bit wierd, a one man band cajun style thing, very funny & certainly 'different'........I expect that in the UK you may have a different support act tho.
