Ian Posted April 3, 2005 Share Posted April 3, 2005 A Collector from Paris did a book with photos of all the French R&B EPs Think his name was Daniel Delorme he had something to do with Jukebox magazine the French record collecting mag think the book was called these fabulous picture sleeves or something like that. I thought the picture was with her sitting, but on eBay in the last year I saw a picture cover with her standing and the picture taking up only part of the cover. I thought the picture was with her sitting, but on eBay in the last year I saw a picture cover with her standing and the picture taking up only part of the cover. So far they have released a catalogue in two volumes ranging artists from A to C and from D to H , the rest is planned for later 2007 / 2008 . O.K., they're in colour, and they're nice, but now they're up to 3 books, covering letters a to m. Each book being 15 euros, how much will it cost to go to Z ? Hi i have to agree with you that they are not cheap, and it would be of course nicer to see a version of Daniel Delormes' book updated in colour with just black artists . But i suppose a book like that in full colour would cost a fortune as well . I remember buying the book when it came out and it was already really expensive at the time . on another related french subject, i have two early french tamla compilations (that do not appear in the Juke box magazine catalogues anywhere) , i have heard that there is a 3rd one with promotional pictures or a poster inside (anybody aware of that one ?) Guest claude picard Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 I just looked at the book i have, and i counted 78 picture sleeves by page 9, the french releases stop at page 91, then you have the American, British, Spanish, Portuagese etc etc for 28 pages or so after that, not sure if the published version is in colour, mine is just black & white.
