Just playing around with a track from the Manhattans , 'That New Girl', on my computer. As I had nothing better to do ( looking after the kids while they are on their Easter hols ) I played the track through my 'mixer' and changed it around a bit.

Anyhow , I quite enjoyed the finished article

I was wondering how people in general thought about remixing tracks?

I've posted up about 10 remixes and some of them were really good, using "The Amazing Slow Downer" which is a program you should be able to find on the net - change the pitch of both the voice and or the backing track. Maybe slightly pointless but good fun.

I do it for a laugh

The software I have allows you to change pitch, tempo, add extra bass and other weird things.

I took great delight in dropping the voice of my 'sensational' cover up , the 'Tommy Silvertown' track , only available in my 'gallery' by several octaves. I'm expecting a top 100 hit with that offering on its release in Albania

I disagree - I think it's very inventive. As NS, yes it is rubbish but you've got to admit it's clever. That's off one of the cut up/bootleg sites I think (if it's not, I apologise)

Yes can't remember where i got it from but it was something like that. It's a bit rough and could do with some more work, but it almost works. It's Kelly Rowland BTW but you probably knew that.
