Guest Matt Male Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Just bought the absolutely stonking 'Tough Stuff' - Pauline Chivers - O-Pex. Superb cheapie. I'm assuming it's Pauline Shivers of 'Better tell him no' and 'Won't you come back home' also on O-Pex (has this woman ever made a bad record?) Why the name change? I'm assuming it's a misspelling on Tough Stuff, quite often the guys in the pressing plant can't read the handwriting from the record label . Any soul historians know the answer?
Daved Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 No, sorry but is it very good? Much better than "WYCBH"?

I have had a good search around, I can't find anything about the Name Change. Suspect that you may be right with the Pressing Plant theory. Over the years, Various Pressing Plants/printers have Mistitled stuff, leaving us with similar questions. Edited February 16, 2008 by 45cellar
