Clue : they were involved in the recording of one of the biggest 45s to get played on the NS ......... Dave Moore
Hi Malc, Can't see the photo too well but I suspect it's the vicar's mob? Father's Angels? Often presumed to be an incarnation of an early MFSB. Father Angelo and Jerry Ross finest hour. Link to comment Social source share
Guest
I'll have 1st go. Is it Detroit Soul - All Of My Life? Dave Sorry Dave , but no ........ An unlikely looking bunch as you will agree , and whilst pictured posing with their instruments , none of them is shown with the one that delivers the standout sound on the record ....... Quite correct , it is Father's Angels - named after the gentleman below , their mentor , Father D'Angelo ....... Got a look about them of JoBoxers , never mind MFSB ...... Guest
Looks like first album Dexy's Midnight Runners if you ask me ..... They also look like extras from the Martin Scorsese film , " The Gangs Of New York " ....... Whatever they looked like , they contributed to one of the best records to be played on the NS ...... Father D'angelo looks like a decent chap ....... Malc Burton Link to comment Social source share
