Russoul1 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 hi, sold "tears on my face" about a year back £25 early early r&b the mary moultrie is im lead to believe quite a rare 45, saw one listed about 5 yrs ago for £250! dont know which issue it was? it has been issued twice i believe; americana recordings 1002 - mary moultrie with hutchs trio i have this one will try to put a scan up, never seen another!! have asked the question regards this one myself without any joy! americana recordings 1006 - mary moultrie & the dynamics (your listing) have seen this 45 a couple of times on ebay but each time it was on reserve that wasnt reached. even tried to email the seller with no joy. have played it out a few times with alot of interest from r&b lovers a raw, atmospheric quality 45 imo better than her king outing regards russ

Mace Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Junior Lewis 'Tears on my face' promo is worth around £50 for an Ex copy....maybe a touch more....have seen on lists for £70+, but not so sure it sells for such. The other 2 x 45s by Junior Lewis you have listed are £30/£40 records, but not as easy to sell as 'Tears on my face' Regards Mace

Hope you can make it too Bidds......looking like another top night Regards Mace
Striker Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 just to contribute a little to this - both rare tracks, the Willie Hutch's Trio version is on youtube to hear and the backing track is organ, the version with Dynamics on 1006 is totally different (same song) but the backing is a brass section, both are great but definitely different, however imho 'prove my love to you' the other side of 1006 is the superior track, there is a copy of details posted on discogs of 1006 visuals but no soundtrack
