Page One label: highly collectable and always attracts HUGE, some might say EXCESSIVE bids. Might explain why I've only 2 records from this label, but want about 15! :D

Not a favoirtie of mine, OK but not worth that sort of money, maybe a tenner  You still haven't quite got the hang of the Mamsey Pamsey thing have you

It is very much as Mamsey Pamsey (girlie) record but I just couldn't resist a pop back at Si the Disco Bunny  (private joke). I do quite like it but on a more serious note to me it it more of a £30-40er and wouldn't be prepared to pay much more than that at the moment.

It was pants when played at Wigan, and it's still pants! Can't believe it went for that price, collectable label or not!

Proper sick piece of shite..

It'll be bloody Seth Martin next.

I think she did it with Mari Wilson , in essex somewhere ? Would go massive now  for Chrissie and Bearsy hahahhah

Simon you just aint getting it frusty2.gif . Just cos it's girlie vocals doesn't mean that it fits the Mamsey Pamsey label, Mamsey Pamsey has to have soul and tends to be mid tempo. i.e. Terri Bryant - Geni, Ch Chi - If your gonna love me, Halos - Just Keep on Loving Me, Maxine Brown - Seems You've Foresaken My Love, Fontella Bass - I can't rest, Darlettes - Lost, Honey Cone - The Day I Found Myself, Dusty Springfield - What's it Gonna Be, etc etc etc.

I must admit I hadn't heard for years when I posted earlier but now after listening again I rate this as 60s girlie pop, and would not play it at a soul night but from a 60s pop angle I think its ok and slightly better than 9 times. So the official rating from me and Bearsy, cos he looks up to me as the font of knowledge of all things Mamsey Pamsey, is its 60s girlie pop (which I quite like in the right place at the right time) and not Mamsey Pamsey.........so there

Very much a pop collectors label.

Listing here Pete.

I've always found it very odd that there are three Pic & Bill 45s on Page One:

Pic & Bill - All I Want Is You / It's Not You - Page One POF 024

Pic & Bill - This Is It / Nobody But My Baby - Page One POF 037

Pic & Bill - Just A Tear / Sad World Without You - Page One POF 052

Yeah I'm familiar with the label mate, just wondered if I might have any of those that he wanted. Rarest record on the label is the album by Apple "An aple a day".

Col Garnett is a danceable inst version of Monday Monday.

Patron Of The Arts of course\everyone knows this now.

Judi Scott is a version of Evie Sands.

Kevin King Lear did a reasonable version of The Snake

and so on
