My favourite compilation album for the past few years has been Kent's "Masterpieces of Modern Soul" one of the finest 7ts soul comps ever. Great for dancing or relaxing. Love it!!!

'Good Guys Don't Always' and 'Full Time Groovers' Hotlanta Soul 1 & 2 on Kent.

And the Dave Godin series, also on Kent...

.... apart from my own they're the most awesome comps (for the Motor) on the planet (IMO)

The mighty Bully on here has supplied me with some superb compilations, and now I've got a car with a CD player it's a treat to go for a drive.

Current favourites are the latest two entitled "Margie meets Lamont (I think George Jackson also gatecrashed)" and "I shouldn't have been so sweet, I shouldn't have gone so deep".

Bully assures me that the titles are all his own work. :sweatingbullets:

He also sent me a copy of a CD you did- hope you don't mind- can't lay my hands on it but it's got a title that suggests the records are cheapies. At the moment it's a great Al Green Comp I picked up off Amazon for the mighty sum of £2...38 tracks too! And not a bad tune in sight which you can't really say about most Northern cds if we were truly honest...there's always a condition red or similar bad instrumental that pops up and makes you reach for the ff button

T'was my offering towards the previous swap on here.

All accesible choons... unless you don't have the tracklist - which I'll pm to you... if i can find it!

Wise choice... C & The Shells V The Bully Dead leg.

Think I'd rather buy a Winehouse CD than receive one of those!

I make up an mp3 disc of about 300 tracks, all different tyupes of music, then stick it on random and await my surprise. Unless I'm having a very fast drive down the motorway in which case I only ever play old skool jungle. Honest. Great to tap the steering wheel to laugh.gif
