pikeys dog Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 They used to take the site down for updates on a Friday morning....
timthedim Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I got that message about not all my information being available as well this afternoon
Mace Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Not sure by your post if you were selling them or watching to bid on them ? If you're not the seller have you tried to search for the items via description/seller ID rather than item numbers? Might be that ebay has withdrawn these items or even the sellers registration for some reason. If you are the seller then basically, you're fc*ked
Guest Fatius Bumius Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 it's an EBay glitch according to EBay forum.

Not the Uk one anyway.
Gasher Posted January 25, 2008 Author Posted January 25, 2008 never mind mate due to the fact they fucked up I just saved £100 quid as he offered me it for the first offer I made him.....woooo hoooo happy bunny gasher
Guest JJMMWGDuPree Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 I wuz gonna bid on that ex-DJ box of NS CDs today. Set the alarm and then settled down to listen to Radio Oxford's soul show over the 'net. The show ended and I thought "'Oy! Shouldn't the alarm have gone of half an hour ago?" Yup. It should have, and it would have. If I'd of actually switched it on. Stoopid box went for 50 quid less than I'd have offered... Some days you just can't win.
Guest selectasoul Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 The answer is simple the seller will have recieved a private bid, accepted it and withdrawn the item, so avoiding fees. Make sure you buy from reliable sellers.

Cover-up Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 The answer is simple the seller will have recieved a private bid, accepted it and withdrawn the item, so avoiding fees. Well, not really - then the item would come up as "auction completed, item no longer available for sale" or something. Gasher's talking about the auction being pulled and becoming an invalid item. Ebay stop auctions for lots of daft reasons, like if you say you'll accept cash, try and add on 4% to use paypal etc.
