Please can anybody help me with a song title which is played in the back ground of the "The Infamous Simon Soussan" section of the strange word of Northern Soul dvd disc 3. It's being played while Ian Dewhirst,John Bratton and Tim brown are talking about Simon.

Cheers Charlie

First Choice - Let Me Down Easy. Album track only?

(Piano rift was sampled for some dance track that charted a few years ago?)

Then there's the (in my opinion far superior) Rare Pleasure version on both Cheri 7" and 12". I'm fairly sure that it was the Rare Pleasure version which was sampled for the house version a couple of years back.

Based on the Rare Pleasure version being on a CD I have called "The Best Of Sampled" (Virgin VTDCD572 - 2003), I'm sure you're right, Sebastian...

The piano and drum pattern of which, David Morales robbed, when releasing 'his The Face' production with Juliet Roberts.

He cheekily claimed the publishing rights to the arrangement, when it was basically an edit of Rare Pleasure's backing!

But then, that's why he has a lovely NYC apartment on Central park innit?
