Crumb Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Its not him is it?he`s like J Henderix. The stuff I have heard by him remind me more of Little Johnny Taylor but they are 60's recordings, he might have gone more like Hendrix in the 70's

Soulfreak Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 I have Chicken Heads on Galaxy and Do The Do on PIR 12 Inch.i Assume its the Same Chap..Who Knows different Yup, same guy. Still going strong on the Chitlin' circuit in the US. Famous for his large female dancers ("Bobby Rush likes 'em big") and his Southern hit 'Sue'. He has toured this side on the pond on many occasions, but mostly in France/Germany/Italy.

Sebastian Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Jim Ford's original demo recording of this tune is apparently going to be released on the forthcoming second Jim Ford anthology CD from Bear Family. It should be out in February or so. LOADS of versions of this track out there by the way.
Crumb Posted January 22, 2008 Author Posted January 22, 2008 Thinkin`of Otis Rush maybe i am. Not to be confused with Bobby Crush either, completely different bloke.
