Knew a lad from Warrington, actually Grapenhall called Mike Green, his Dad had a newsagents, white kid, don't think he was a regular Casino goer though. Maybe not the same person.

Thanks Mark...

Could be the same but the Mike I knew was a regular in the late 70's........ always wore a jumper not matter how hot it was in Wigan for some bizarre reason!.. :wicked:

On this youtube clip from Wigan circa 78!.

Thats Mike in the clip on youtube. Not seen him myself since the casino,i have asked a few lads about him and not many have seen him in years,a old mate of mine from the casino..Daz from Irlam last seen him at some do in Warrington/Manchester way years ago.

Yes he always had a jumper on biggrin.gif ,he must have been one of the best dressed at the casino, his hair was immaculate at all times as well  .

I remember Mike was good at the splits and was always showing off and this lad(cant remember his name) would run over and kneel on Mike`s legs so he couldn't get up  ,you can see it happening in the youtube clips.

Good memories and some good pictures from rally :P .

The guy kneeling on his legs looks a lot like Mick Coombes from Golborne, who used to be a mate of mine butI could be wrong

Mick Coombes?...name sounds a bit familiar i remember there was a few Golborne soulies who we all knew but names are very vague :D .I will ask a some one with better a memory than me to have a look at the youtube clip and try to remember,Rally(aka Keith)is very good at remembering some of the old lot and he his good with names.

While we are on the subject of old casino mates does any one remember any of the Kirkham lot that used to go the casino late 70s...esp 80/81.

Thanks for that Neil :D

Stumbled across the Youtube clip and remembered Mike so though I would ask if he is still around......got to know him quite well around 77/78-ish at Wigan.

We used to have competitions to see who could get the lowest on the splits........he always won though!

I must know you then if you were with the same crowd ?.........
