Pete S Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I bought 3 records the other week from ebay seller markmaggie@hotmail.com (Mark Goddard from Hereford). One of them described as EX was actually in quite poor condition so I asked to return it, he said ok and he'd have a look at it. Today I got a very nice apology, my money back, my original postage back and also the postage that I paid to return it, but double the amount I paid. What a refreshing change from some of the sh*tbags, conmen and cheats we have to deal with a lot of the time on ebay. Treat people how you would like to be treated yourself is my ebay motto.
Pauldonnelly Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 top post Pete, too many folk have a pop over fekk all but fail to congratulate good service.

Goods to hear Pete. I like to think that I'm one of good guys when it comes to selling (and hopefully buying too). I always try to give the benefit of doubt to the buyer, but sometime's it's the buyers that p#$* you off, especially those who leave neg feedback because the items are not what they were expecting with no communication and without trying to resolve the issue first. Even when you inspect a 45 under a lamp before listing you don't always pick up hairline cracks and you certainly can't control what Royal Mail do with it (apart from insuring more valuable items). Sure there's plenty of con men and shysters out there but I like to treat everyone as honest and reliable until I know different.
