Harry Crosby Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 Looking through the sales section the other day noticed everyone giving a newish shop/web site big plugs, so went on and found a record that my wife wants, so sent a pm NO REPLY, rang the shop got the answer phone LEFT A MESSAGE WITH MY PHONE NUMBER,NO REPLY? rang the mobile number managed to speak to one of the owners, who said he wasn`t sure wether the record was in stock and took my number said he would get back to me, AFTER TWO DAYS STILL NO REPLY.If the record wasn`t available why wasn`t i at least contacted to inform me of the situation. If this is a newish buisness venture then customer relations should be a high priority if not just good manners. Have managed to source the record in question elsewhere now so good news in the end

Hi val, put the post on in the hope that the people involved would read it, and realise this is not good customer relations, don`t really want to name and shame them on here, just a bit miffed off with the sevice i was given, had this a few times on GEMM aswell, just think its really bad manners not to contact customers

If you have been listing on Gemm for a while and you sell a record but forget to take it off your list.. hay sh*t happens.. but to sit and list them on here .. you have to make the list so you should have the records in front of you.. well thats how i see it and you should return customer calls .. as they pay your bills in the long run...

Correct of course it wasn`t a listing as such it was advertising there site, and had really good replies by quite a few people on the topic, must say this is the first time ive come across this on here, and in the main ive had no problems at all in both sales and wants

I imagine i'm not the only one Yeh its allways the same if youve got the money you don`t see anything, then when your skint everything turns up, i made it a rule never to look in record boxes when i was skint
