The Jackie Day on E-Bay won last night, I would suggest the winner obtains a scan of the flipside label or info on the exact deadwax markings of both sides before paying for it.

A friend of ours & yours got ripped off on this 45 for the sum of over £1500 in a very similiar listing last year.... the seller never had the 45.. please be careful for this amount of money. Get proof the seller actually has the 45.. before proceeding

Of course it may well be a perfectly genuine listing, but this 45 has been used in scams on at least two other occasions.

I've bought from this seller in the past with no problems - however as John says it might be best to get proof of ownership before paying.

All I'm saying: previously, this record has been used in at least two scams.

IE the dealer never ever had the record. It would be wise before sending the money, to get a scan of the flipside or at least the deadwax details of the flipside. You can email me, I retain all important deadwax matrix details on 45s of this calibre.

The man could well be perfectly 100% genuine. BUT a very high-profile collector and friend got stiffed for a huge amount of money on this very title in recent times on E-bay from the same city location.
