Steve G Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 EVERYDAY PEOPLE - WORLD FULL OF PEOPLE - BROWNSTONE is it rare does it get played did they do anything else whats its value shep There are several groups with this name - this is a West Coast one I think from Oakland, though maybe wrong on that. It used to be rare though a few have turned up in the last few years so I'd say probably 250 ish now. It's been played a few times by a few of us. Good record though> Steve

boba Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I seem to remember one chap had this ebay almost every week ? Some guy did have a bunch of them but I think he still got around $500 for all of them. Anyone got a soundclip of this? I always ignored it because I thought it was a funk record but I heard there were group vocals on this at least. Thanks.
Gaz Simon Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I thought the Brownstone label was a collaboration between James Brown and Henry Stone out of Miami? Or is this a different Brownstone? Gaz
Chalky Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I thought the Brownstone label was a collaboration between James Brown and Henry Stone out of Miami? Or is this a different Brownstone? Gaz James Brown certainly involved as was Henry Stone, distributed by TK productions. Like Steve said few Dj's have played this out.
