I prefer the version by La Jay Alexander on the same label, cheaper and better IMO

Totally agree "Say so" is a nicer production. But then I prefer Virgil Henrys version of "Ill be true" to Cookies as well. The rarity doesnt always mean better.

Lay Jay Alexander is without a doubt the far superior tune. I speak as someone who had the opportunity to get copies of the RS, but there is something not quite right about it, cant put my finger on it, its almost there but not quite, LJA however, has the lot & more for me...........cracking tuneage.

Hi Ian

Hope you're well mate?

Me bankroll Flanny? Yeah right

I think you mis-read me Ian :D

I was saying I had a spare copy....................well i did cos it's sold now

If you buy a copy each time you come to The Orwell, you need to come more often and you'll be quids in :(

btw Flanny did put it on our 6th Anniversary CD a couple of years ago!

btw I also prefer Virgil Henry's version of 'I'll be true' too thumbsup.gif

Cheers

Steve
