Richard Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 So what time is the Northern Soul hour on at please
Guest lifeandsoul Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 dunno what this is all about but for example Ghostface has sampled the likes of Jack McDuff, Johnny Johnson and Bandwagon, Stylistics, Delfonics, Bobbi Humphrey, Three Degrees (Maybe), Luther Ingram, Wilie Hutch, Sylvers, Dennis Coffey, Ray Goodman & Brown, Manhattans, and more on his Fishscale album alone, so this may be worth checking!
Guest Stuart T Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 so this may be worth checking! Not sure myself, I've heard all those tracks, so is his spectral visageness making them better or just nicking bits of other tunes which I've always found more than adequate in their full length versions? Young people today etc....
Richard Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) well I'm staying tuned cos I wanna hear the New Ep Of Zartan & Friends Edited January 10, 2008 by richard

Young people today etc.... that wasn't really the point i was making - i never got the chance to listen to the show but it said 'affiliated' so i imagined that the original tracks were going to be played. I wasn't necessarily saying get into the Ghostface tracks, just that there was an awareness of some pretty decent 'old school' if you like.
