Thats the one with Restless on the flip isn't it? I love Restless. That is a very hard record. Sorry not buying, as I don't have spare cash, or would have had this like a shot

Sorry not buying, as I don't have spare cash, or would have had this like a shot Hi Richard, Yes, it is. And yes, you're dead right, it's a brilliant instrumental dancer just perfect for the Mod / R&B scene. And yes again, it IS very rare. Deceptively so. People see Stax and think easy to get but this one ain't. Thanks for your comments. Denbo.

Yep, The Cobras single The Hawg by Eddie Kirk on Volt Frog Stomp by Floyd Newman on Stax I'm Going Home by Prince Conley on Saterlite are probably about the hardest things on Stax group of labels and all of them are nothing like the Stax sound - possibly why they didn't sell so well at the time but all of them are great. Ernie Andrews Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 How come some are sold if you are taking offers to Sunday afternoon? Just asking Will pm on one
Mace Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 How come some are sold if you are taking offers to Sunday afternoon? Just asking Will pm on one I should imagine because the offers made on those particular items were agreeable to the seller, so he sold 'em? As the thread is titles 'Offers invited', rather than an auction listing, I would presume that Denbo has a good idea what he wants for these 45s, and so he would sell before his cut off date if that price is achieved.
Denbo Posted January 20, 2008 Author Posted January 20, 2008 How come some are sold if you are taking offers to Sunday afternoon? Just asking Will pm on one Hi Ernie, Like I said within the first three lines of my original posting, as follows; Offers Invited - R&B and Soul Best offers after one week will be notified. Or even sooner if it's the right offer. Also, will be sending you a PM regarding your offer later today.
