Wilxy Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 (edited) As I am only one Golden World title short of a complete run, could anyone enlighten me to what in fact Dickie & the Ebb tides-One boy one girl- Golden World#45 is actually like, as I can't honestly say I've ever heard it, and what would a copy cost? (I fear the worse as to how it sounds but hope I'm wrong) Thanx in advance wilxy Edited January 4, 2008 by wilxy

De-to Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 hello wilxy, ive been in the same boat as you mate but probably longer, yep golden world 45,dickie and the ebbtides, one boy one girl/ive got a shadow, not sure if it came out on demos and issues on g/w number 45,but i do have the pre golden world issue of this 45 its on the fleetwood label with same titles as g/w 45 (hope im correct with this info) last time i played it (years ago) i thought it was a pile of p** imo but if you are a completist like me you must have it!!,so ive sort of completed the label ??? along with ric tic and wingate labels, will post up a not very good scan from popsike of the fleetwood 45,lastly ive given up on ever finding a golden world copy, hope this helps.

Dave Rimmer Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Funnily enough I'm in contact with the wife of one of the members of Dickie & The Ebb Tides. She was asking if it was possible to get hold of any of his records because he hasn't got anything left. So if anyone can PM some MP3s of Dickie & The Ebb Tides recordings I'll pass them on. Cheers
