Tony Smith
Quite a few copies turned up a few years back, most were water damaged, my label on the Million Dollar Bill side has a but gone, maybe we could start a thread on how to stop paper labels dissolving, shoe protector springs to mind, any thoughts.... Great record by the way, I like most on the label Link to comment Social source share

Guest deepgroove
I sold a copy of "Million Dollar Bill" about a month ago on eBay to a purchaser from the UK for $125 US. Its label was also badly moisture damaged, but the vinyl looked and sounded unplayed. The group consisted of the backup musicians from one of Baltimore's top sixties teen bands Tommy Vann and the Echoes who released a couple tunes nationally on Academy (Too Young, Pretty Flamingo). "Million Dollar Bill" was issued after the group had split with Vann and added a new vocalist. They actually played under the name "And the Echoes". From memory the label states "and the Echoes" think there may even be a mention of a "Mickey" on there as well. Bought mine couple of years ago Label & Vinyl mint. Dealer said it was the first copy in 12 years he's had. Played it a bit at Solid Hit. I love it ! Link to comment Social source share
