Why was it released twice and what sort of timescale between the two

and which is the rarer if any 1007 0r 1008

does that make 1008 a reissue? :shhh:

and any differences between them?? apart from the obvious cat number

different fonts etc?? colour of label , times etc etc

I didn't know until today there were two releases

just cant understand why??

also don't know what number my old copy was either

please help clarify

if I remember right the 1007 has the label design like the well known bootleg/re-issue which came out a couple of years ago in opposite to 1008 which has even that label design you see two times a year and you know as original whistling.gif think both original and both quite hard to find!

Is 1007 the same design as 1005?

I think 'don't let love get you down' is on the 1008 release too

Going slightly off on a tangent here....

is it true that "don't let love get you down" is on the reverse of all 3 phonetics choons???

At Ace we've got a master tape which goes on quite a few seconds longer at the end. Andy Rix used to play it out.

It's about 40 - 50 seconds longer, and in stereo, if I remember correctly.

Andy said it was stereo but didn't think it was quite that much longer, sure he said it was only 17 seconds or so longer :D

Surely you can confirm?

You'll will have got it for AD, who got it from RT, who got it from AR, who got it fron AC.

I actually don't think I have this anywhere Simon? I will have a look. I'm sure Andy R told me that the released version is just a faded out version of the longer stereo mix and not a different take in any way, could be totally wrong and talking complete boll*cks of course  Been a while since I heard it.
