paultp Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Haven't been buying a great deal as prices seem to be all over the place at the moment, some stuff surprisingly cheap, some stuff stupidly expensive (rare or not). Small boxes of ridiculously expensive records are becoming the norm. So, I sold the majority of my limited sales box cheaply on here and bought the following with the proceeds: Kenny Wells - Isn't It Just A Shame Just a beautiful tune but probably considered "old hat" these days (or cheap ). Diplomats - Cards On The Table Because it was 70 quid cheaper than when I sold my copy 5 years ago and regretted it, also I sold it 2 weeks before Ady C brought the Diplomats/SkullSnaps down These Old Shoes and so couldn't play it for them - doh! Judy Clay - Do You Think That's Right Been after a copy for ages and kept getting outbid on eBay. Prince Buster - King Of Ska - CD Skatalites - Guns Of Navarone - CD I've also been selling all the records off that I don't want anymore at 4 for a fiver (or less) on eBay. I'm a miserable disillusioned old git at the moment so once I get into the habit I'll probably sell everything next year and then that will make me more miserable. Thank f*ck christmas is almost here .... then it will be over for another year. Anyway, time for hibernation. Cheers Paul
