sepia Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 GASHER can tell you the story,he spoke to band member or manager(where he got 1 of his 2 copies, both sold now). was ment to be 2x50 boxes,1 box chucked out the other handed out to family/friends. could be wrong on all counts, but nae far off.
Prophonics 2029 Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 (edited) I thought I had met the guy who sold him a copy or 2 and he told me that story over a Murial Day. Edited December 11, 2007 by Prophonics 2029

Marc Forrest Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 A tune I associate with Mark Wilson/ Rob Marriott. I think Mark's was Rob's old copy. Hammy I will always associate this tune with David Flynn who I believe bought his copy (too) from Richie Conn just because that is where I heard it first. Fantastic tune and I couldn`t believe my luck when I finally got hold of one. I am still looking for the Flint Emeralds though if someone has that please ?

Guest Pete Griffin Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 How much would you pay? Dont know, what is the booked price?
Prophonics 2029 Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 One about a year or so on ebay was Arther Fenns and had a nice green ink date on it.

Was going to say I have this one too, its not rare as far as I know....is the other track better? Lew Stanley had one of theres a few months back, not sure which one it was tho......described as a 'good group dancer'. JM has a 'Bad Dream' for £25. The flip 'You Don't Know That I Love You' is a nice tight group dancer though. Edited December 12, 2007 by mulf

Guest James Trouble Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 it did - and not the best condition looking vinyl in the world LOL No, it had surface noise, VG+ didn't it? I guess a nice minty copy would be £3g+, maybe 4 on a good Manship auction?

Hammy The first three came into the country via Tim Brown. A mate of mine was there when they were opened. Rob had one, think one went north of the border. I'll bell me mate when I get the chance and get full story. 1992 I think the year was. Edited December 12, 2007 by chalky

Probably about right James; Tim B auctioned one earlier this year - not in great condition and it was £2.5k with a few hours to go - not sure exactly how much it went for in the end.
