Paulb Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 Banjos, bloody suicide squad! Too many people on this site are Burnleyist and regionalist. I can count on both hands and one foot hand the amount of times i've encountered a banjo. Good job im thick skinned..... Keep them coming. There's a prize for the person who can come up with the most abusive one....
Guest Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I can count on both hands and one foot hand the amount of times i've encountered a banjo. Thats the spirit Paul.
Guest rachel Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 This thread is bringing out the worst in you, isn't it link Worst, best, depends on your point of view...
Paulb Posted March 17, 2005 Author Posted March 17, 2005 Then one day when I finally meet PaulB Will him and his mates tie me naked to a tree ? link Being tied to a tree is the least of your worries. Wait till you see what we do with our banjo's! Once thats over and done with, ill hand you over to my good friend Big Collin!
Little-stevie Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Worst, best, depends on your point of view... link Not a lot to say about the place really apart from...Sheep,pies,Dingles,very young mothers/grandmothers/aunts/uncles,club feet, ricketts, black death etc etc.. Come and see the how the big city kids live in Huddersfield

Guest Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Butcher Pete? Think Twice? Got 'em both on a compilation album called "If that ain't a hit I'll **** my baby. Picked it up in FL Moores many moons ago. Anyone else got it? Gave a whole new meaning to Jackie Wilson singing Ho, Ho, Ho, I can tell you. (which he does on Think twice version X) You like chocolate ice cream?
pikeys dog Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 You like chocolate ice cream? link Lick It! WOOF!
Guest rachel Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Lick It! WOOF! link "... I got news for ya little boy...."
Guest enchantedrythm Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Johnney Morrisette "I'm Hungry" features lyrics like: Get in that kitchen woman or I'll break your jaw, coz I'm hungry. I think more records should be played like that to sort out those feminist DJ activist types. link Have you heard Johnny Morrisette-Brick? "I'm gonna throw a brick upside your head, I'm gonna throw a brick at you" Amazing! As far as the female D.J goes, at least half feature "Women like it harder" Milton Parker. Great sound but complicated moral content.
Guest enchantedrythm Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Also contains the line: I got a lot of meat an i'm hard to beat Probably contains the dodgiest lyrics ever. link Check out Clarence Carter L.P Strokin' one track includes lyrics like "ive a sixteen inch dick and coming for you baby" I wonder if he aimed that to Candi Staton, she'd need more than the upper hand I fear! its worse than those Blue Beat types "bang bang Lulu" "wreck a buddy" and my fav Prince Buster-Big Five.
Alan J Graham Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Joe Bataan "Subway Joe" (Fania) This latin soul / boogaloo number revealed the danger of not giving up your seat to a lady on a crowded subway train : Listen little boy you sure look tough But i'm afraid i'm gonna have to call your bluff And then she smacked me on my head - kicked me on my knee Saying mr your dead if you mess with me ! This track , although obviously written with a great deal of humour , conjured up an image of the New York subway in what must have been lawless days (pre - Guardian Angels) in the late 60's / early 70's .
Guest nubes Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I think this thread is a load of b####cks and filth , all line up for good thrashing Del xx
