Guest Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Never thought "I Got The Vibes" was really gospel, even though it is on the Gospel Truth label, suppose "More Love" is one that springs to mind by the Gospel Classics. Hard for me to define a gospel sound ?

FrankM Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 (edited) "Anyone heard the Salem Travellers version of "wade in the water" halo records?" If it's the version I'm thinking about you'd need to play it at 78 to get it up to dancing speed and I'm sure it came out on a 78 to begin with. Whilst the words to Lee Cross are secular Aretha belts out a great gospel tune. Edited March 16, 2005 by FrankM
