Venues been tarted up, bars cheap and the music was pretty damn good. There's enough of us close enough to Hitchin, give it a try. Apologies if I sound like I'm up the organiser's arse. I don't even know him.

I don't even know him. link hi vinnie thanks for your positiveity. suffice it to say graham and i were a little dissapointed with the attendance at our last do but, what can you do. it is a new night people don't really know the venue etc. however, we know this can be a good night and are determined to make it so, we know the music policy is fantastic and that the few that did come managed to get on the floor and have a dance. with good will and pure bloody mindedness we intend to keep going with this night and make it an enjoyable night for all. the club has just undergone a total refurbishment (complete with brand new wooden dance floor and new sound system) so things can only get better everytime. we think that we have improved the already great dj line up by adding a touch of r&b from pete tebbutt and some good old wigan stompers from bill macnamara. hope to see you at the next one (and don't forget to bring all your mates ) thanks and all the best andy kempster ps - don't forget the dome on friday 25th march

I don't even know him. link I went to the last one and it was a blinder, I see Billy Mac is on the DJ list on this one so should be doubly good. Bill if you see this can you bring along that acetate we discussed the latter of last year:) Also coz the venue is slightly smaller than Plinston it adds to the atmosphere, would be great if these events were more frequent, we have the fan base just not enough venues to feed the dedicated followers. I will be at Plinston tomorow night, lets hope its a good one bearing in mind Stoke is on the same night

TheBigO Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Slightly smaller It's a cozy venue about the size of The Ghetto! Vic and an old stomping ground for the North Herts 6Ts Mafia. Heard it's had a refurb and wish the guys all the best for the night. It IS very hard getting any new venue off the ground and it takes time. Not worried too much about Stoke being on as we have a dedicated following anyway and of course anyone that wants too can do both as Stokes only a few hours away from the Plinston.
