TOAD Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 HI THERES SO MANY BUT FOR A CHEAP AND GOOD WAY I RECOMEND THE TROJAN BOX SETS POSSIBLY LESS THAN A TENNER HMV ON LINE DO THEM EVEN CHEAPER CHECK OUT SOUL JAZZ AND HEARTBEAT CDS SAMPLES ARE UP ON THERE WEB SITES IDEAL TO LISTEN BEFORE YOU BUY PM ME IF YOU GET STUCK WITH WHAT TO GET TOAD
Biggordy Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Also compilations on Trojan called "Trojan Battlefield" and "Duke Reid's Nuclear Weapon" for the early ska/boogie stuff. Then you've got the stuff put out by Brian Harris in Brum, the King Edwards label reissue CDs titled King Of Ska 1 and 2. Also Ska Down Jamaica Way series and Top Sounds From Top Deck series, but be careful here as these two series of albums have a lot of overlap as both are full of Top Deck/Tuneico sides. Gordy
