paultp Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Received my Judy Clay this morning (well Royal Mail morning anyway ) and was surprised to see the label, I had expected it to match the design of the Chuck Wright - Palm of my hand that I have. Phoned Jo W in that London and conferred with the knowledgeable Alan Handscombe who confirmed that there were two versions of the label. Any more information gratefully received and examples of other singles known in both designs. Jo has promised to post hers up but in the meantime here's mine:
Anoraks Corner Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 1. Your 'Wood & flames' design. 2. This WD...and 3. the stock version being black with red bits.

Hi Dave, I think Jo is posting the issue up this evening, I've never seen the wood & flames design before are there any others on the label with this design? Cheers Paul

Yes, quite a few including Little Jerry, Timmy Brown, Chuck Wright (not all titles) etc.
Guest vinylvixen Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Yes, quite a few including Little Jerry, Timmy Brown, Chuck Wright (not all titles) etc. Dave, did it mean that the 'flame' batch were pressed at one plant and the 'wood' design at another? I'll scan my issue tomoz. My Randy Hobbs is on the 'flame' issue as well. I'd never seen the 'wood' design before....quite wild really Jo
