MAMA CAT TRUST is a charity run by (freebasing moderator) Karen Heath which, although based in the UK, helps work with feral and street cats in the Cambrils area of Spain.

They promote responsible and humane treatment of all animals and the implementation of neutering programmes focusing on feral and stray cats.

WHICH IS WHY I SAID I WOULD TRY TO HELP OUT OF I COULD. I'VE PUT TOGETHER A CRACKING DVD COMPILATION WHICH I WILL BE HAPPY TO SEND TO ANYONE WHO MAKES A DONATION OF £7 (SEVEN POUNDS). FIVE POUNDS WILL GO STRAIGHT TO THE CHARITY, TWO POUNDS GOES TO ME BUT THAT'S TO PAY FOR DISCS, JIFFY BAGS, POSTAGE AND I HAD TO PAY FOR A CONVERTER PROGRAM...THERE'S NOTHING GOING INTO MY POCKET.

But I wouldnt like to see one go the way of the Warrior so count me in!

It is important work - do not give up. Those cats have a personality and know who you are. I looked at your Flickr account and met all your friends there. Is it Eduardo, the big grey one - just like our Louis!! Wonderful work.

I will get back to you to see if there are any alternative ways of paying....it is easier for Pete to use Paypal for the dvd's but I know it is tricky if you don't have an account. (Paypal is the method of paying on ebay etc.)

Eduardo is the big grey one now called Teddy...he will be coming to U.K next year if his condition doesn't improve.

The reason I asked for paypal payments is because I didn't want to have to put this through my business, and it made it easier to simply transfer money into Karen's paypal account from which she could withdraw it, if she ever worked out how to do it also I didn't want to take it on credit/debit cards because the company doesn't like me taking transactions under £10.

With paypal all you have to do is go to www.paypal.com and click 'send money' and they walk you through it, doesn't cost you anything as far as I know, but if anyone wants to pay by cheque they can always mail them directly to Karen and she can let me know where to send the discs.

All my years of mail order trading, and this has to be my first catastrophe. The DVD arrived shattered, but since the label was still holding it together I thought I'd give it a whirl despite all the warnings they give you....

Don't try this at home, kids! Naturally I got nothing but a blue screen and a ghastly racket from the player.

I'll make another donation after Christmas when the funds are replenished. Keep a DVD warm for me until then!

Nah, you're all right. If you'd been a regular in-it-for-profit dealer I'd have been straight on you for a replacement/refund, but you're doing something good for free so I'll cough up again. It's not like the cats don't need it.
