Guest Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Hi, I just found a very dope 12": Carver Area High School Seniors - Get Live Eighty-Three (class of '83 senior rap) (Challenger, 1982) ...based on the info provided on the back of the record, it appears that this record was recorded/pressed to raise funds for the Carver Area High School, somewhere near Chicago, IL. The vocals were performed by a handful of the graduating seniors, and the INCREDIBLE production and arrangement was done by John Harris. All I can say about this record is that it is remarkably HEAVY, much much more than expected. This is in my top 5 boogie/hip hop 12"s for sure at the moment. If anyone is interested, I am selling one of my copies. It was sealed until about 2 weeks ago and is in mint condition, only played once. If interested, email me at thisisgb@gmail.com
