Paul Smith - I'll Run B/W Ain't That Something - Jacklyn 1001 - The rarer one seem to remember it's a white label with red text? two good sides and Paul Smith - Ain't That Something B/W Only Once In A Lifetime - Jacklyn 1004 the yellow design which is the one I have, not booted to my knowledge? just a case it came out twice with different flip sides 1001 around £300.00 and 1004 half that perhaps a little less, hope this helps Pete.

Definately booted on a look a like label

Think the difference is the length / time of the track

Which one has been booted 1001 or 1004? would not of thought there was enough demand on this record to warrent a bootleg? or was it done in North America?

It's a Jamaican bootleg. For the Jamaicans (and Chicagoans!) the side is "I'll run", people remember that song and ask me for it sometimes.

Here are scans of the original and the very close looking boot

And here's the 1004 release yellow design - Only Once In A Lifetime B/W Ain' That Something - Jacklyn 1004.

As pointed out, if you look closely at the scans of Jacklyn 1001 you will note that the ORIGINAL of I'll run is 2:20 and the BOOT is 2:30

For those that like slow, building soul records with a big city feel you can do a lot worse than track down a copy of JACKLYN 1004 "Only once in a lifetime" its a GREAT RECORD and as a bonus you get "Aint that something" on t'other side - can't beat double siders of this quality !
